Following the renovation of Het Muntgebouw, HEYLIGERS architects designed the interior of the Florijn restaurant and the accompanying conference area in close collaboration with the client. In a short period of time, a design emerged that reflects both the building’s unique history and the atmosphere and aesthetic the entrepreneur had envisioned.

The interior seamlessly blends historical and contemporary elements. Delft Blue references the Dutch tradition of craftsmanship, while industrial accents lend the interior a rugged and contemporary character. The former vault has been repurposed: it now serves as a wine cellar.

The entire process, from design to completion, was finished in just four months.
