For De Baak Seaside in Noordwijk, HEYLIGERS architects designed a warm and flexible restaurant interior that seamlessly reflects the identity of the venue and its unique seaside location. The design combines tranquillity, comfort and functionality in a contemporary hospitality environment.
The interior is characterised by a combination of warm materials and subtle blue accents, inspired by the coastal landscape. The space has been designed to accommodate different uses throughout the week. On weekdays, the restaurant layout caters to business meetings and group lunches for course participants, with tables that can easily be combined. At weekends, the space transforms into a more intimate setting, suited to hotel and restaurant guests seeking privacy and relaxation.
By relocating the buffet and introducing a central lounge area, a clear circulation route and a greater sense of spatial calm were created. The new layout enhances the welcoming atmosphere of De Baak Seaside and contributes to a flexible hospitality experience centred around social interaction, comfort and relaxation.
