Sijthoff Media Group and Management Brouwershoff have acquired the Diamond Exchange (Diamantbeurs) on Weesperplein. At this location, they will develop a new center for the Creative Industries.
In recent years the creative sector has transformed fundamentally by the emergence of new media. The new creative businesses are smaller than before and inspired more by collaboration, creativity and continuous innovation. There are a few examples of so-called corporate tenant buildings in the city. What is lacking is a central location where the main players are located.
