Alpe d’HuZes is an event where participants raise money that they contribute to the fight against cancer. Under the motto “Giving up is not an option” on one day they climb up the legendary Alpe d’Huez up to to six times.
This past year our own Froukje Romkes trained hard for the Alpe d’Huzes. Together with her team ‘Team 36 knots” they have spent many weekends on the bike. They cycled hundreds of miles across the country through all weather conditions to train themselves for this special day.
Today is the big day. The team will go up the mountain! Heyligers d+p sponsors Froukje and her team in this great challenge. We are proud! Give it your all!
