Early November Heerema moved into their new office building at Vondellaan in Leiden. OPL architects created the design for the hull of the building.
The concept for the interior of the 12-storey office building (22.000m2) is the ‘seven seas’. The seven oceans are translated into different color ranges and materials. The interior consists of a comprehensive sustainability package as a result of which the complete building achieved a ‘BREEAM NL’ new building certificate with label ‘Excellent’.
